Breakfast Recipes: Buttermilk Syrup




1 cup butter

2 cups sugar

1 cup buttermilk

1 tsp baking soda

2 tsp vanilla

Using a larger pot, melt the butter until it is melted completely and bubbling.
Whisk in sugar, buttermilk, and baking soda and bring to a rolling boil.
Boil for one minute, stirring constantly. 
The syrup will foam and rise.
Remove from heat and add vanilla.

Serve with all things breakfast. 
...and try not to drink it.
Really, it's delicious!
